Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time jobs. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances as compared to the performance of her classmates. She began considering other options. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The group didn't get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started work for Diva in 1992. It was her debut album as a solo artist. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted on October 31, 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I'm Letting You go... is the soundtrack to her exhibit of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
