Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and bilingual social worker. She has over 13 years of experience working in nonprofits. She has worked in number of different settings, such as working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues as well as survivors of sexual assault and partners who have been victimized. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since the year 2019. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team that works with postpartum and prenatal women, specializes in trauma-informed healthcare and provides EMDR therapy for adults. She also offers Group and one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted treatment program, referral for specific care, as well as a Women's support group. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to aid homeless animals to find a home. Amanda is committed in The Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working hard to turn Los Angeles into an animal-free city. Amanda is an individual who makes the best of her every moment.
